On a cold winter’s day, residents of the temporary reception center in Blazuj, Sarajevo gather outside for Jummah, or Friday prayer. Jummah is the main Muslim prayer of the week. With no single indoor space large enough to accommodate all the residents, they must brave the elements every week in order to gather together. All their shoes are the same, since they have been donated by one supplier.
